Excelsior Orthopaedics is a part of the Excelsior Medical Campus located in Amherst, NY.

The 62,500 SF building is dedicated to comprehensive orthopaedic care. The building was designed as a ‘Center for Excellence’ for clinical, surgical and rehabilitative services, all conveniently offered in one location. The building includes a 9,000 SF full surgical center that has three operating rooms, a recovery room, a physical therapy wing complete with the latest equipment including half a basketball court, and digital x-ray imaging, as well as MRI and casting rooms. The facility was designed to be patient friendly, with a café, custom fountain plaza, landscaped courtyards flanked by stone columned porticos, heated sidewalks, a covered porte cochère entrance, and a timeless architectural design. Class A interior finishes were used throughout the building, from the two-story lobby atrium with ceramic tile floors and interior stone accents to the cherry wall paneling and marble countertops which greet patients and visitors as they enter the building. The building’s second floor houses physician offices and administrative staff, a modern conference room with an outdoor roof patio, an employee cafeteria and mechanical/IF rooms. The building’s exterior is impressive as well, with its cultured stone and brick façade and reflective ‘low E’ glass.
